Join Autumnwood in assisting to host recognized Sudbury Blueberry Festival Events!
Autumnwood Retirement Homes is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support various events during the Sudbury Blueberry Festival. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage with the community, have fun, and be a part of a well-loved local tradition. Volunteers will be instrumental in ensuring the success and smooth operation of the following events:
1. Hike Up Blueberry Hill
Date & Time: July 18th, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Manage refreshment stations
- Conduct safety patrols
- Assist with trail clean-up
2. Blueberry Pie Eating Contest and Blueberry Bash
Date & Time: July 19th, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist with event set-up and clean-up
- Meet and welcome guests
- Help manage the crowd
3. Blueberry Pancake Breakfast
Date & Time: July 20th, 2024, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Responsibilities:
- Assist with seating guests
- Help with food preparation
- Assist with clean-up
4. Blueberry Farmers Market
Date & Time: July 20th, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist vendors with set-up
- Welcome guests
- Conduct safety patrols
- Assist with clean-up
Qualifications:
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to work well with a team
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to help with various tasks
- Dependable and punctual
