Independent Living Sudbury
Manitoulin Independent Living Sudbury Manitoulin (ILSM) provides those with
disabilities the tools to succeed and achieve independence in their lives - We
are located at 125 Durham Street.
Our non-profit organization offers programs and activities that are available
to our members, essentially to provide them with information, awareness and
education. ILSM runs effectively because of the dedication of our over 500
members and the active role they take in determining our services and programs.
We offer a wide range of daily activities, relating to skills development, peer
support, adaptive sports, and our food program, such as:
We are currently seeking senior volunteers, who are 55 years old and older, to
help deliver programs designed to strengthen social connection, emotional well-being,
physical health, financial confidence and leadership skills among older adults.
