Closet Share is looking for a reliable volunteer lead to help run our Saturday Pop-Up Shop every Saturday throughout the summer.

Our pop-up shop runs rain or shine from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM every Saturday, and we need someone who can help open, oversee, and close the shop. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, friendly, organized, and comfortable taking the lead.

The Saturday Pop-Up Shop helps Closet Share raise funds, promote our programs, sell low-cost clothing and repurposed items, and connect with the community.

Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:

  • Opening the Saturday Pop-Up Shop
  • Helping set up tables, racks, clothing, signage, and items for sale
  • Welcoming shoppers and answering basic questions about Closet Share
  • Supporting volunteers during the pop-up
  • Keeping the area organized and tidy throughout the day
  • Helping process purchases or direct shoppers as needed
  • Promoting Closet Share’s mission and programs to visitors
  • Ensuring the pop-up runs smoothly from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Helping pack up items at the end of the day
  • Closing the pop-up shop and making sure the area is clean and secure
  • Communicating any issues, supply needs, or updates to the Closet Share team

Schedule:

Every Saturday throughout the summer
Time: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Additional setup/closing time may be needed before and after the pop-up.

  • Able to work independently and with volunteers
  • Comfortable helping with setup and cleanup
  • Retail, customer service, event, or leadership experience is helpful but not required

Our Saturday Pop-Up Shop helps Closet Share raise important funds to continue providing free and low-cost clothing to the community. It also helps us reduce textile waste, promote sustainable shopping, and welcome more people into our space.

We are looking for someone who can commit to helping lead Saturdays this summer so the pop-up can run consistently and successfully.

Training and support will be provided.
