The Morel Family Foundation hosts an annual community party that began with the grand opening of the newly renovated Morel Family Foundation Park in 2017. We hosted two events prior to the pandemic shutting everything down, so this year is extra special for us. Not only is it our 5th anniversary, it’s our first in-person event since the pandemic.
We provide free BBQ, refreshments, and ice cream to community attendees, along with live music, carnival games and bouncy castles for all ages also available. It’s a wonderful day of all ages family fun.
The event runs from 12-3 p.m. and we would like the volunteers to be there for approximately 11 a.m.
We need three volunteers to help with handing out cooked food as folks line up, the BBQ team from MM Meats will be preparing everything and we will just need help distributing.
We’ll also need four volunteers to man the carnival games – watch over them and hand guests, for instance, the rings for a ring toss. You are not expected to do any set-up or tear down.
All volunteers are welcome to the food and refreshment on site as well!
