| Volunteer: Volunteer Your Expertise with Special Olympics Sudbury - Multiple Board Positions Available!Special Olympics Ontario - Sudbury is currently accepting applications for multiple executive and team roles. If you are interested in learning more, consider responding to this need or emailing the SOO-Sudbury Community Coordinator @ sudbury.communitycoordinator@specialolympicsontario.ca. It is the discretion of the Community Coordinator to appoint a suitable Member to replace another Member when deemed necessary. The Treasurer shall: 1. Keep a record of the financial activities of the SOO- Sudbury Community Council and its associated Sport Club programs; 2. Produce a written statement of account for all meetings; 3. Pay the invoices related to the SOO- Sudbury Community Council and its associated programs; 4. Prepare and present to the AMM a proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year, using information provided by the Sport Club Head Coaches; 5. Submit GST rebate claims to SOO on a quarterly basis; 6. Be entrusted as one of the signing officers; and 7. Work with the City of Sudbury to organize permits.   The Secretary shall: 1. Record, distribute, and keep the minutes of all Executive and SOO- Sudbury Community Council meetings; 2. Conduct the correspondence of the SOO- Sudbury Community Council; 3. Maintain a file of all correspondence for business conducted with the SOO- Sudbury Community Council members; 4. At Executive and SOO- Sudbury Community Council meetings, present and read all correspondence received; and 5. Issue notices of meeting with agendas.   If interested in these positions, volunteers must: All positions have a two year commitment mandate. Attend all SOO- Sudbury Community Council meetings; and 4. Prepare and submit a written a monthly report. The Public Relations Coordinator The Public Relations Coordinator shall: 1. Act as a representative of and spokesperson for the SOO- Sudbury Community Council with local media and throughout the area; 3. Administer the development of and changes to the SOO- Sudbury Web Site; 4. Attend all SOO- Sudbury Community Council meetings; and 5. Prepare and submit a written monthly report
