MYTHS MANIA: Celebrating 30 Years of Myths and Mirrors is our 30th birthday party! Join us for a two-day celebration taking place Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12th, 2026, across downtown locations.
We’ll kick things off with the Closing Reception of our retrospective exhibition Art for All(ways): 30 Years of Myths and Mirrors, on Friday, September 11th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at the Art Gallery of Sudbury (174 Elgin St.) The exhibition, curated by former Artistic Director Cora-Rae Silk and artist/academic/activist Ra’anaa Yaminah Ekundayo, is open to the public as of July 16th.
On Saturday, September 12th, we’ll be hosting a Community Arts Yard Sale from 12:00pm - 3:00pm (Larch St. between Elgin and Durham), followed by a Community Meal catered by Simply Sonia at the Refettorio (131 Durham St.) with performances by G.R. Gritt and a DJ set by Max Moon, a Zine Fair in collaboration with Anaphore Artist Collective, and an All-Ages Show featuring Bosmo and other artists to be announced.
Your ticket is valid for the Community Meal, Zine Fair & All-Ages Show. All other events are free to the public and non-ticketed.
It promises to be a weird and wonderful celebration of 30 years of community arts in Sudbury, and we would love for you to be a part of it.
