Who We Are

Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers is a not for profit charitable organization, committed to fostering anonymous crime reporting to bolster safety in schools, neighborhoods, and businesses. We believe that every crime can be solved with the right information, and we incentivize anonymous tips leading to a successful crime resolution with rewards of up to $2000.00.

Crime Stoppers is overseen by a Board of Directors of up to 30 volunteers from the community.  The Board of Directors sets the policies for the operation of the program, assists with public awareness initiatives and raises money from the community to pay rewards and cover costs associated with operating the organization.

Our operations cover a vast territory, extending from the North to the Watershed, South to Britt, East to Warren, and West to Elliot Lake, including Espanola and Manitoulin Island.

What We Do

Our organization is primarily funded by donations and fundraisers, and is deeply committed to community safety. At the heart of our efforts is our Tips campaign, a unique program that offers rewards for successful crime resolution. This campaign is entirely funded by donations, underscoring our reliance on community support.

We believe in the power of community engagement and collaboration. To this end we actively seek partnerships with local organizations to share information on community safety.

Our organization continually broadens its impact by undertaking various projects, campaigns, presentations and fundraisers. Our initiatives include a Blue Jeans Country Ball, a Firetruck Pull,, Golf events, Bingo and donation campaigns.
